Project Description: We are seeking expressions of interest from males willing to be interviewed on camera and to appear in a small number of short art films (documentary style). Project aims to raise awareness for men's health charities and causes.

Presidential Productions is casting for upcoming documentary/interview series called SOLO that explores the concept of vulnerability and openness in the male experience. Exploring modern masculinity, the series aims to dive into personal narratives, shedding light on a range of life experiences and perspectives, as well as physically revealing its subjects through nudity, body image and male orgasm. This is art not porn. Each short film tells the story of one man.

Key Responsibilities:

Join an Award-winning Australian filmmaker to participate in a filmed interview/audition, engaging in conversations on various personal topics such as life experiences, personal journey stories, self-confidence, grooming, beliefs and perspectives on sex and masculinity. We will ask you about your sexual history and experiences with body image, bullying and abuse. Ability to answer questions openly and honestly.
As a symbolic gesture of openness and vulnerability, participants will be asked to strip/undress to display and talk openly about their body, and perform a natural orgasm (solo masturbation) on camera. Participants may also be filmed arriving/departing, behind-the-scenes, showering/grooming, as part of their interview.
Interviews take place at private locations including subjects' private residence, or hotel suites used for filming.

Requirements:

Male, aged 18+ or above.
Required to attend 1-hour filming, available through 2-23 August in Melbourne CBD.
- Videographer either travels to your location, or you may visit studio/suite/location for filming.
Comfortable with being filmed and speaking candidly about personal experiences, sex/sexuality and views.
Must be fully confidant on camera, and comfortable with nudity and filmed masturbation.
No prior acting or on-camera experience necessary. Subjects are referred to by first-name only.
Each short film tells the story of one man. Each finished film is unique.
Closed set. Professional cinematography and lighting. Award-winning filmmaker.
All models required to sign a standard release form.
